Jeff Pina moved to Phoenix 13 years ago from La Quinta, CA. He met his wife, Tricia, in college and she supported him in launching his first book, Dr. Oblivion’s Guide to Teenage Dating in late 2005. He has been making comics since. After Dr. Oblivion, Jeff added Imaginatives and Monkey in Space to his titles. He also does the art chores on the weekly web comic Drunk-Robot with collaborator Brian Powell. His newest creator-owned series, Super Pawn is being published in Big Dog Ink’s Critter as a monthly backup feature.

Jeff worked as project coordinator alongside Fiction House Mafia’s Thomas Healy to publish the “Heart” anthologies which focused on local creators and has worked on other projects such as Voltron: United and Drawn, Spazdog Press’ Smiths: Unite and Take Over, and Zombies vs. Cheerleaders: Becky & Bob #1. He also does sketch cards for 5finity.

A geek to the core, he loves reading comics as much as making them and is a die-hard Whedonite and a Trekkie.
